Hi Delyth I’ve wrote the review for stroller. If I have got any names or spelling wrong please feel free to change It. The spelling of Dannielle is right with two Ns. My mistake when she was born but Tracey liked it 😀 I’ve added a little video of Dannielle on one of our walks

We bought this adult stroller for my 24 year old granddaughter Dannielle. She suffers from a disability called Myotonic Dystrophy which affects all her muscles so she can only walk very short distances.

We travelled a long way to get this stroller. It was an 8 hour round trip but it was well worth the journey. When we arrived we was made so very welcome with a lovely snack ready for us. Delyth and Wendy was so friendly and helpful, we didn’t feel rushed or pressured in any way.

There was three strollers suitable for us to look at and the Axiom Adaptive Star stroller was perfect for both Dannielle and ourselves. She was so comfortable in it and we found it easy to push and manoeuvre.

We have now had it over a week and it’s been well tested. It totally opened up the areas we can now go for walks. The wheelchair restricted us to pavements and smooth paths. We have since been on some lovely woodland walks which we enjoy but found impossible with a wheelchair. Going over rough ground is no problem for the stroller. Another positive we can envisage for the coming winter months is just how much warmer Dannielle is going to be. The Axiom Adaptive Star stroller gives her so much more protection from the elements and still has plenty of room to wrap her up warm.

We would definitely recommend this for anyone who would like more freedom to explore areas wheelchairs just can’t go.

Also a big thank you to Freedom for Kids for making this possible.

Thank you and all the best, Dot

    Hi Delyth
I just wanted to say thank you again for seeing us on Saturday and for your help in choosing our new freedom wheels! (Axiom Phoenix)

We drove to Berwick after leaving you, had a quick M&S ‘car park picnic’ and then headed out along the fields for a walk (see attached photo of Ella & Douglas). We haven’t been able to do that for years so it made us all unbelievably happy.

    Thanks again,
    Kirsten x
